Arpella stores is a wholesale distribution company supplying products to retailers. I primarily focused on the design, implementation and deployment of their e-commerce platform and point-of-sale (POS) systems streamlining operations and enhance service delivery.

• Design and develop a cloud-native, containerized backend infrastructure & API platform utilizing Docker and Microservices.
• Enforce enterprise-grade engineering standards ensuring exceptional code quality and translating complex business requirements into highly maintainable technical designs.
• Designed, normalized and optimized SQL database schemas using MySQL, implementing asynchronous data access and query tuning.
• Safely integrate MPESA APIs and SMS notification services using strict data validation, input sanitization and secure coding practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated, multi environment deployment across Staging and Production stages.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for APIs using Swagger, detailing structured endpoint groupings.
